Life today can feel overwhelming. Between busy schedules, daily responsibilities, and the unexpected challenges that arise, it’s often difficult to stay positive or grounded. When we add in the weight of our personal histories—such as past trauma, loss, or relationship conflicts—distress can build, leaving us feeling stuck or alone.
For over 20 years, I have worked with adults navigating these struggles. Together, we explore your experiences with compassion and curiosity, helping you better understand your challenges and develop healthier ways of coping. In our work, we may reexamine your values, clarify what matters most, and create meaningful goals that align with the life you want to build. My aim is to help you strengthen resilience, improve relationships, and cultivate a greater sense of fulfillment and purpose.

Parenting a child on the autism spectrum is a journey filled with unique joys and profound challenges. As a therapist and a mom of two wonderful kids—one of whom is autistic—I understand firsthand how isolating this experience can feel and how hard it can be to find others who truly “get it.” Parenting a child with special needs brings a wide range of emotions—grief, pride, sadness, joy, frustration, and love, often all at once.
My support groups are places where parents can come together to feel understood, share their experiences, and connect with others walking a similar path. My goal is to create a safe and compassionate space where we can offer each other emotional support, exchange resources, and build a sense of community. You do not have to go through this alone—together we can find strength, resilience, and connection.

Trauma can deeply impact how we see ourselves, others, and the world. PTSD and Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), sometimes called relational trauma, have been described as a shattering of one’s beliefs—the world no longer feels safe or makes sense. The aftermath of trauma can bring anxiety, panic, anger, dissociation, numbing, depression, physical pain, and conflict in relationships.
In my graduate training at the Veterans Administration, I worked extensively with men and women who struggled with trauma and PTSD. Since then, I have continued this work in both hospital and outpatient settings, supporting people with chronic and complex trauma. Through these experiences, I’ve seen how important it is to begin with safety, compassion, and a judgment-free space.
Trauma is something that was done to you—but trauma therapy is in your control. Together, we will move at a pace that feels safe and intentional. Along the way, we will work on understanding the impact of trauma, developing alternative coping strategies, and gradually rebuilding a sense of identity, connection, and place in the world.
I offer virtual sessions and have flexible scheduling options to accommodate your needs.
My practice is open and affirming to all, including LGBTQ+ individuals and those who are neurodiverse. Whatever brings you here, you are welcome.
